Cleaning: After wear, wipe gently with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Avoid rinsing, soaking, abrasive cleaners, and ultrasonic cleaning.
Storage: Store each piece separately in a soft pouch or lined jewelry box, away from humidity and heat.

I leave room for the current.

The Afloat Necklace takes the leaf from the Afloat Earrings and lets it rest at the collarbone: one softly curved form, brushed by hand, tapering to a point like a small boat finding its way along a river. It holds the feeling of loosening your grip a little, following a bend, and trusting that the current knows a few things you don’t.

A note from our founder

Have you ever felt like more than one person?

I’ve called more than half a dozen cities home, across three continents. Along the way I’ve lived inside different cultures, different languages, and different relationships — and each one drew out a slightly different version of me. None of them felt less true than the others.

I trained as a sculptor, and one question kept following me: how do you give a feeling a form?

Self Plural is my answer. Every piece begins with a feeling, finds its words in a line from a poet or philosopher, and is shaped by hand in sterling silver in our own studio — something to carry with you, through all of your selves.
