Daily wear: Remove your jewelry before showering, swimming, exercising, or sleeping. Handle gently to avoid knocks and snags.
Chemicals: Put jewelry on after applying perfume, lotions, and cosmetics, once they have dried. Keep it away from soaps and household cleaners.
Cleaning: After wear, wipe gently with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Avoid rinsing, soaking, abrasive cleaners, and ultrasonic cleaning.
Storage: Store each piece separately in a soft pouch or lined jewelry box, away from humidity and heat.

The Afloat Earrings are long, curved leaves that taper like small boats. Their shape holds the feeling of loosening your grip a little: following a bend, adjusting course, letting the route surprise you without losing your way. Worn with the necklace, the same leaf rests at the collarbone while these move with you.

A note from our founder

Have you ever felt like more than one person?

I’ve called more than half a dozen cities home, across three continents. Along the way I’ve lived inside different cultures, different languages, and different relationships — and each one drew out a slightly different version of me. None of them felt less true than the others.

I trained as a sculptor, and one question kept following me: how do you give a feeling a form?

Self Plural is my answer. Every piece begins with a feeling, finds its words in a line from a poet or philosopher, and is shaped by hand in sterling silver in our own studio — something to carry with you, through all of your selves.
